Kirby McInerney is proud to announce that Anthony Maneiro has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the fourth edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for his expertise in Mass Tort Litigation/Class Actions – Plaintiffs.

Highlighting the legal talent of those who have been in practice for less than 10 years, Best Lawyers uses peer review methodology to recognize lawyers who are earlier in their careers for their outstanding professional excellence in private practice.

Since joining the firm in 2016, Mr. Maneiro has practiced out of the firm's Chicago office, concentrating on securities, commodities, and antitrust matters. He is currently acting as co-lead counsel in Dennis v. The Andersons, Inc. et al., a case under federal antitrust and commodities exchange laws alleging monopolization and manipulation of Chicago Board of Trade soft red winter wheat futures contracts, and lead counsel in coordination with the New Mexico Attorney General's Office on behalf of the New Mexico State Investment Council in In re Credit Default Swaps Auctions Litig., alleging that leading credit default swap (CDS) dealers took part in a more than decade-long, multibillion-dollar scheme to manipulate the benchmark prices used to value credit default swap contracts at settlement.

Mr. Maneiro is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and the New York City Bar Association, where he serves on the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Committee.

“It's an honor to be selected to the fourth edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America,” said Mr. Maneiro. “My firm's success in complex class actions results from our team of outstanding colleagues who work together on behalf of our clients. It's wonderful to be selected by my peers to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America.”
